Germina (2023) reflects the unfolding of a new period in one’s life and through the representation of a seed that has yet to grow its roots. It embodies the personal development of someone’s life and discovery of one’s fundamental personality. Through the exhibition of the sublime, this sculpture represents both the good and painful discoveries through which a person “sprouts” and discovers their higher self through time and experience as they navigate the different cycles of life.
